What is Play Padel?
Play Padel is a padel community platform in Saudi Arabia. Players browse and register for real padel tournaments and social matches, get an official skill level from a short quiz, and follow other players' profiles and match history.
How do I register for a tournament or match on Play Padel?
Browse events on the Explore page and open the one you want to join. Fill in your name, WhatsApp number, and padel level, then submit your payment confirmation (transfer details are shown on the event page). Your registration is marked pending until the organizer approves it.
How does the player level quiz work?
The quiz asks about your padel experience, how often you play, and your competitive tournament history. Based on your answers you're assigned a level from Beginner to Pro (on a D to A scale), which is used to match you with appropriately leveled events. You can retake the quiz once every 90 days.
What tournament formats does Play Padel support?
Matchmaking (casual social games), Americano and Team Americano, Mexicano and Team Mexicano (round-robin formats where partners rotate every round), and Groups + Knockout (a round-robin group stage followed by a single-elimination bracket with a live scoreboard).
How are Groups + Knockout tournaments scored?
Teams play round-robin within their group: a match win is worth 3 points, a loss 0 (draws aren’t possible). The top 2 teams from each group advance to the knockout stage. Ties are broken first by head-to-head result, then game difference, then total points difference.
Can I see other players’ profiles and match history?
Yes — every registered player has a public profile (playpadel.today/en/{username}) showing their padel level, match history, teams, and posts. You can follow other players from their profile page.
What if an event requires a specific padel level?
Some events restrict registration to a level range (for example "C to B+"). If your quiz-assigned level doesn’t fall in that range, registration for that event is disabled until you retake the quiz or a matching event opens up.
